On Sunday April 12 we held our Bev and Charlie's 6 Player Medley Day. Ten teams were entered from all over the district with some Foster players inviting visitors to make up extra teams. The weather was a little trying, with the occasional shower interrupting play. But everyone had a great day out.

Last year, many of our grade 5 and 6 girls broke the tradition of playing netball for winter school sports. Instead, they put in a girl’s footy team, coached by our Essendon loving principal Mr Banks. This lit a sparkle in the girl’s eyes.

On 26 March, we held the Exchange Hotel sponsored Turkey Triples. The Fish Creek Bowls Club would like to thank the Exchange Hotel at Foster for their ongoing sponsorship, it is much appreciated.

The last couple of weeks we have seen some Club finals matches played and we can announce the winners of the Men's Pairs, Mixed Pairs and the Men's 100 Up.

Term one saw the introduction of a social twilight tennis competition at the Foster Tennis Club
