Fish Creek began Round 10 by toppling Thorpdale away from home with an emphatic 70 to 13 victory. The Sharks followed suit, with Tarwin taking down Boolarra by 22 points, 64 to 42. Meanwhile, the Stony Creek Lions took on the ladder leading Foster Tigers and lost 34 to 78, while MDU had a very close match against neighbours Mirboo North, winning 52 to 49. The final Round 10 game was also a narrow Prom Coast victory, with Toora in a 4 point thriller against Newborough.

Round 11 saw MDU in a comfortable win against Morwell East, 73 to 48, while Toora had a commanding 38 point victory against Thorpodale, 58 to 20. Stony Creek snuck a win against Newborough, 55 to 51, as their fellow Creekers (Fish), slammed Hill End by 40 points, 67 to 27. The Tigers had their first scare of the season, beating Mirboo North by just 3 points in their 59 to 56 win on the weekend.
