The 2025/26 Leongatha and District Cricket Association season commenced last Saturday, and Foster Cricket Club is ready for another exciting summer of cricket. While B Grade was washed out and A Grade forfeited their opening match against Nyora, the season promises plenty of action ahead.
Building on the success of recent years, Foster will again field two senior sides along with Under 15 and Under 13 junior teams. Recruitment is now open across all grades, and the club welcomes both new and returning players to join our friendly, family-oriented community.
Club President Mitch said, “We’re really proud of the way the club has grown in recent years, and we’re looking forward to another strong season. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a junior keen to get started, or a local who just loves being around the game, there’s a place for you at Foster Cricket Club.”
Plans are also in place for a Junior Blast program to start before Christmas—perfect for young children eager to learn the basics and join the fun. Junior Blast Dates and times will be released shortly.
Training is held every Thursday evening, the session is open to past and current players, and supporters are always welcome.
