Foster Cricket Club has secured $10,000 in South Gippsland Shire Council funding to tackle persistent drainage issues that have plagued the start of recent cricket seasons.

Sergeant Anthony Wilson of Foster Police delivered sobering road safety messages to Fish Creek Football Club's Under 18s during a special TAC Round session, presenting statistics that hit home for young drivers.

Warren Davies – aka The Unbreakable Farmer – will be the guest speaker at a free community screening of the film ‘Just A Farmer’ in Fish Creek Memorial Hall on August 29.

On Saturday September 6, Foster Secondary College Music Department is inviting the Prom Coast community to a night filled with music, art, culture and language to celebrate the rich history of the oldest living culture in the world.  Kicking it all off will be a Lions Club BBQ and Manna

Lynne Muir of Waratah North and Karin Ruff of Yanakie met through the Walkerville Walkers group. They are both active volunteers with Friends of the Prom, as newsletter designer and president respectively. Lynne and Karin are also members of a local circle dancing group.

Foster and Fish Creek will face off in Saturday's qualifying final at Stony Creek on Saturday 30 August, with the winner earning direct passage to the 2025 MGFNL Grand Final in a high-stakes clash between the competition's top two sides.
