Kathy Smith, who has been keeping Meeniyan Primary School students safe at the crossing for nearly ten years, has been recognised at a state level after being nominated as School Crossing Supervisor of the Year for Victoria.

Kathy attended a dinner in Melbourne alongside 200 crossing supervisors from across the state, where she was named a finalist in the awards. It is a fitting recognition for someone who loves her work and has become a familiar and beloved presence in the lives of Meeniyan families over the past decade. Congrats Kathy!
