A fully-funded women's empowerment program is offering local women the chance to transform their lives through a series of workshops and a retreat this spring. The Go Girls program, running from September to November, provides participants with all meals and transport in a supportive environment designed to help women explore their futures and achieve their goals, and find focus, direction and independence..
"Go Girls has given me direction, purpose and so much knowledge to help me improve myself and my life. I have just felt so loved, held and listened to," said Heidi from Wonthaggi, a previous participant.
The program consists of four day-long workshops at ArtSpace Wonthaggi from 12 September to 31 October, and all workshops run from 9am to 4pm. Participants will then attend a three-day retreat at Yanakie from November 11-13, culminating in a graduation luncheon at RACV Resort Inverloch on November 28.
The program welcomes women of all ages from the Bass Coast and South Gippsland areas who want to take control of their futures and connect with like-minded women in a safe, supportive environment.
