A couple of weeks back our Wednesday night indoor bowls saw a great night with eleven in attendance. A handful of newbies in the mix saw some interesting bowling at the start of the night. It didn't take long for most to settle in and show their skills. The winning team were Charlie Tyers, Mark Taylor and Paul Greenhalgh. Player numbers were down a little the following week with seven of us. Bev Tyers, Kate Pulham and Karen Wheeler took home the win. And last Wednesday saw eight of us playing pairs. The team of Bev Tyers and Rosa Raiti were the only two game winners taking home the sweet treats! Everyone is having a great night out with lots of laughs. We hope our sickies get better and return soon. Next month, Thursday, 10 July is our Winter Triples. Team numbers are pretty good, but always plenty of room for more! Happy bowling to all. Bev Tyers
