Tidal River Footbridge to Reopen Ahead of Schedule, But Frustration Over Delays at Sealers Cove

Visitors to Wilsons Promontory can look forward to easier access across Tidal River sooner than expected, with the popular footbridge set to reopen ahead of schedule in early December. Parks Victoria has confirmed that the project is progressing smoothly, with new cross heads, bridge frames, decks and railings now complete.

Victory for Turtons Creek: Native forest secured at Fellas Track

A major win for nature and the South Gippsland community has been announced, with Hancock Victoria Plantations (HVP) confirming that the Fellas Track site at Turtons Creek will no longer be logged. Instead, the 174-hectare coupe will be regenerated and protected as native forest.
