ARIA Award-winning artist William Crighton is coming to Meeniyan Town Hall on Saturday 8 August for a solo, stripped-back performance celebrating his fourth studio album Colonial Drift. Alongside the standard $40 ticket, Lyrebird is offering community tickets at $20 for anyone who might be struggling to afford the full price at the moment.

Crighton has built a devoted following through what he calls Bush-Psych, a sound that weaves Australian folk and rock with raw, unflinching storytelling about land, spirit and struggle. Colonial Drift, his most recent album, continues that tradition with characteristic honesty and intensity. Seeing him solo and stripped back will be a different experience to his full-band shows, and Lyrebird is promising it will be unforgettable.

Doors open at 7pm on 8 August, show at 8pm. Tickets are available at the Lyrebird Arts Council website at upcoming events or by following the show links on their social media.
